Surgical Oncology For Effective Tumor Treatment
Surgical oncology is that section of surgery that specifically deals with tumor issues. Trained surgical oncologists perform this kind of surgery for the treatment and management of tumors in tumor patients.
Surgical oncology can also be undertaken for purposes of diagnosing tumors. When employed for diagnostic purposes, a surgical oncologist undertakes other diagnostic measures as well. 
Biopsy is the most common measure that surgical oncologists use along with surgery to determine if a diagnosed tumor is malignant or not.
Biopsy can take the form of open surgical biopsy, incision biopsy or excision biopsy, depending on the location of diagnosed tumor.
